Mission Statement

For more than a century, members of the Sikh community have lived and worked in the United
States, many seeking a path to service through both the US military and public office. As of 2016, more than 750,000 Sikhs now call America home.

Selfless service to community and nation are core values of Sikh culture; values SikhsPAC members live daily through support for candidates in local, state and national elections and through educational programming aimed at raising awareness of this uniquely American community.

SikhsPAC also seeks to encourage greater awareness of Sikh culture by encouraging official
visits to Sikh holy places in USA, India and around the world.

Since the tragic events of September 11, 2001, Sikhs have been common targets of misguided sectarian violence and persecution in the US. However, the Sikh community and SikhsPAC continue to embrace all religions, ethnicities, genders, creeds and cultures, guided by ingrained beliefs in the inherent equality and humanity of all people.

SikhsPAC is a non-partisan organization which works with members of all parties and faiths in pursuit of peace and greater understanding of Sikhs and all cultures worldwide.
