Sikhs supporting national day of community service to remember those killed by acts of hate

Sihks across the US will be out volunteering in their communities in honor and remembrance of those hurt or killed by acts of hate during the last year.  The Sikhs Coalition sponsored National Day of Seva (selfless service) remembers violence against Sikhs like the Aug. 5, 2015 shooting at a gurdwara in Wisconsin. However, it is not limited Sikhs and the coalition asks those involved to also commemorate others who were killed in the last year, including the victims of a shooting at gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla.
